Split testing on variants for performance

Introduction: In this guide, we will show you how you can create multiple ad variants in Clickable. Split testing, also known as A/B testing, is a critical method for improving the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns
By testing multiple versions of your ads or copy, you can identify which variant resonates best with your audience and improve your conversions.
Start with creating a new workspace by clicking the [Create Workspace] button.
You can either use the built in prompt templates in Clickable or create your own. If you want to create your own; click on prompt templates in the sidebar menu to the left. Click on [Create prompt]. Name your prompt template e.g. Description generator, use name GPT-3 and write the prompt. Write a campaign description of maximum 20 characters in the following: Click on save.
Create a new project inside your Workspace. Name your project e.g. "Product launch". Import your data of your products/services through [Datasources] or add it manually to the row. If you have imported, map your selected data, e.g. product images, product names, descriptions etc, into columns.
Based on your data you can create content with different variations. In this example we will test different Tone of voices on the description for the ad.
Create a new column called [Tone of voice] and add your desired tone of voice into each row, in this example we will try: Relaxed, Professional and Luxurious.
Create a new column called [Ad description]. Click on the column dots and click on [Run prompt].
Choose the Function you created called Description generator. Now you can add which variables you wish to add to the prompt, in this example we will add the tone of voice and the product we will advertise. "Write a campaign description of maximum 20 characters in the following: /Tone of voice including the perfume /Product"
Click on the column for Ad description and click on [Run function] to get an ad description with your selected tone of voice. If you are not happy with the description. You can right click on any column and re-evaluate the results by clicking [Run function]. Repeat necessary steps for the output you need to have different variations on.
You can also use the built in feature called [Generate variants]. Mark the rows of your inputted content that you would like to generate more variations from and click on the light orange button [X rows selected] and then click on [Generate variants]
Remember to protect the columns you want to keep unchanged before generating variants.
Experiment with different instructions to get the best results.
Keep in mind that the AI-generated variants may not always be perfect, so always review them before using them.
Right click on [Run function] in your cell to re-evaluate the cells to get even more variations on ads.
You can export your data and use it in your ad platforms to start testing the effectiveness of each variation. And as a results improve your conversions by testing multiple versions on your audience to see what works best.
